Will Not Work with People trying to pay off their debt - - 9/30/2015 -

commentI was sued by them last year Sept 11, 2014. The lawyer assured me that they would work with me if I wanted to do a lump sum payoff at a later date. Well I just contacted them $5,000 on a remaining amount of around $9,000. They would NOT work with me at all. They wanted to know all sorts of personal information like, do I have a 401K do I own my house, do I own my cars, where do I work, on and on and on. I became irate over their questions and the "collector" became defensive, said she would submit my lump sum and call back. Uh no call so I called the next day. I got another "collector" who said there were lots of blanks on my questionnaire, told her I am NOT telling your firm any of that information. The
They are unbelievable, I have had to work with several layers collecting on my bad debt and NONE have been this much of a pain in the @sss as they are.
Beware of dealing with them...Seems like the devil to me. And their collectors do not have a brain cell that operates, NOT ONE!

Garnishment /Frozen Bank account - Jennifer Robinson - 4/3/2015 -

commentI paid my monthly payment and even some extra. I called as soon as I found out my bank acct. had been frozen on Weds. I finally got transferred to someone who was trying to help me and saw where I had paid.I was crying by then and she assured me that she could get this un-frozen probably by later that afternoon and she promised she would call me back to up-date me but I heard nothing. I called the next morning and spoke with her again...she told me that she was fixing this in the most expeditious way possible and it should be lifted with no problem and she would call me back to up-date but she didn't. At 4:30 p.m. I tried to call her back and she was gone for the day. I left a voice message begging for her to call me but she didn't. I called this morning and she either didn't want to talk to me or wasn't there. I left another voice mail begging for a call but nothing.I was dismayed when I went online to try to send an e-mail and saw many examples of crooked practices. I hope this isn't true and I don't want to get the lady in trouble because even though she didn't call me back she at least seemed to be sincere. We don't have anything in the world except the little bit in our bank account. That is rent money, utility money, money to pay your company and money to get our life-saving medications. We paid you and you accepted our checks and it feels like we have now been robbed by your company by freezing our bank account. I don't know what to do. Do I speak to someone else about this being un-frozen or are you indeed going to do what your company said they would do once the lady saw that we had paid? Please help me...We will be without a place to live, no job, no food no anything because of this and we paid you the money. It feels like I have been attacked and robbed.
Jennifer Robinson - 4/3/2015 - I know I am nothing to you but more money. Your tactics are causing people heart attacks and extreme medical effects. I know that doesn't matter either but that is what your company is doing. You took our payments and still "froze" our small bank account leaving us with nothing but heart attack symptoms and extremely elevated blood pressure. Is it true that your firm is well known for doing underhanded things? Is money worth lives of people who have paid you? -

How have these guys not been disbarred yet? - - 1/9/2015 -

commentThese guys will file court cases and then blatantly use underhanded tactics to try to get them through without the defendant actually knowing about it. I've even caught them blatantly lying to the court. Fortunately they were sloppy enough to provide proof of the falsehood in the papers they submitted.
It's a complete hassle to deal with them but stick with it and you should come out on top.
Also, be sure to report them to the bar association every time you find something fishy going on with your case. Here's hoping someone higher up starts to take a good, hard look at what these guys are doing and how they're going about doing it.

Not Good - - 9/16/2014 -

commentThe company is not very friendly. The try to prolong actions that needs to be fixed. I would never recommend this company. I had a credit card opened up in 1997 (17 years old) which was fraudelant and I never had any knowledge of this credit card until 2014, I contacted Chase, which at that time they conducted an investigation which proves that the credit card didn't belong to me, so chase removed it from my credit report. Now McCullough, Payne and Haan actually went to court and got a judgement against me without my knowledge. I sent them the letter Chase sent me which states that the debt was removed from my credit report, but McCullough, Payne, and Haan still will not remove the judgement even though Chase advised them that this was fraudulent and I had nothing to do with a credit card in 1997, (I was only 17). I spoke to company several times and no one wants to help or provide information on getting the judgement removed. I would never recommend this company, they are a bunch of crooks.
- 9/4/2015 - They are so underhanded and it feels like they are nothing more than crooks of the lowest echelon! -

Inaccurate information - - 8/31/2014 -

commentThis firm is in the practice of harassing consumers by sending out bogus legal documents without sufficient evidence to back it up. I owe one amount and they sent me a demand letter stating that I need to pay the full amount. Our agreement which I have in writing states that I could pay the charge off amount. Maybe they need to properly read their own documents before sending out these types of letters. They will never send you a copy of how much you actually owe or how much you have paid thus far. (I have my own records but I wanted to see if we were on the same page). They are very difficult to work with in resolving the matter. What they want to do is to keep consumers in emotional bondage and threaten them with legal actions. Shame on this firm!
