Bio:Christopher D. Russo grew up in Lakeland, Florida and has strong ties to the local community. He graduated from Lake Gibson High School in Lakeland, Florida, where he won the Laidlaw, Inc. scholarship for academics. Upon graduating from high school, he attended the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado, where he served as a cadet from 1999 to 2001. Mr. Russo was selected from a pool of more than 10, 000 applicants for admission to the United States Air Force Academy.
