Bio:Admitted to the bar in September 1976, Gordon began his career as the elected Prosecuting Attorney of Nez Perce County (Lewiston) in January 1977, serving three terms. In 1983, Gordon entered private practice in Lewiston, and before leaving the practice of law for the bench, participate in a partnership in Lewiston known as Keeton, Tait and Petrie. In 1989, Gordon became the Magistrate of Gem County (Emmett) where he served until June 2006 (missing 18 months from June 2004 through November 2005 to train for and deploy to Iraq, where he served with the 116th Brigade Combat Team during Operation Iraqi Freedom III). In June 2006, then-Governor James Risch appointed Gordon to the District Bench in Canyon County where he served until January 2009, electing to leave public office and return to his roots as a trial attorney.
