Bio:Peer Reviewed | Kathryn F. (Taylor) Abernethy joined as Of Counsel in January 2017 following more than 15 years in the defense bar at large international law firms. As a defense attorney, Ms. Abernethy has defended claims arising under Title VII, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act and ERISA, among other employment-related statutes. She also has extensive experience litigating claims for breach of contract, unjust enrichment and defamation, among other causes of action that frequently arise in employment matters. Her clients have included Wall Street banks, major automotive companies and health care systems.Ms. Abernethy has litigated cases in State and Federal Courts all over the United States, from Manhattan to San Francisco, and from Detroit to Dallas.
