Bio:Linda is a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where she grew up in Squirrel Hill. She received a Bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Pittsburgh in 1982. While at Pitt, Linda was an active member of Sigma Delta Tau Sorority and an elected member of the Student Government Board. Linda's positive experiences in extracurricular activities at Pitt prompted her to pursue a career in higher education. Upon graduation from Pitt, Linda enrolled in a Master Program in Higher Education at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where she was also employed in the Office of Student Activities. Upon completion of her Master's Degree, Linda became employed at West Virginia University in 1983. Linda quickly adopted West Virginia as her new home, being drawn to its friendly people and beautiful scenery. It was during her years at WVU that Linda also became an avid Mountaineer fan. In 1999 Linda decided to change careers and pursue the legal profession. While in law school at the WVU College of Law, Linda continued her service to the University working in both the General Counsel's Office and the Student Legal Services Office. While living in Morgantown, Linda was very involved in the local community. Linda was a member of the Executive Committee of the United Way of Monongalia and Preston Counties and also served as the chairperson of the United Way Citizens Review and Allocations Committee.
