Bio:Lisa Butler is a native of Hancock County, a graduate of the University of Michigan with a B.A. in classical languages, and a 1993 graduate of the University of Maine School of Law. After admission to the Maine Bar, for 14 years, she practiced law in legal services in Maryland, Delaware and then Florida. Lisa represented migrant farm workers including litigating employment cases in federal courts, and advocating for farm workers exposed to pesticides. Since her return to Maine in 2008, Lisa has begun to develop a civil litigation practice with our firm focusing on employment discrimination, wage and hour claims, toxic tort and other general civil cases.
