Bio:Mark has been practicing Workers’ Compensation Law since his admission to the Bar in 1987. In addition to his years of experience at hearings and trials, Mark has lectured extensively on the issues impacting injured workers. He regularly speaks with local unions about their Workers’ Compensation rights and has written a number of articles addressing current issues in compensation. He also continues to serve as an adviser to a local scholarship fund.Every year we contribute $1,000 to Local 880 CSEA who are Town of Hempstead Employees. It is done as being part of the Bill Flanagan memorial scholarship. We were one of 3 initial contributors and have been doing it for more than a decade. Mark Polsky is one of the Judge’s in the scholarship drive which distributes at present over $30,000 to children who are family members of a Union member. Mark Polsky was given a citation by the Town of Hempstead supervisor, as well as the Humanitarian Award for all of the firms efforts on behalf of the Town of Hempstead members.
