Bio:Melinda L. VanLowe received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Government from the University of Virginia. She then earned her Juris Doctor Degree from the American University Washington College of Law. After graduating from law school, Melinda served as a law clerk to the Honorable Dennis J. Smith, now Chief Judge of the Fairfax County Circuit Court. Following her clerkship, Ms. VanLowe joined the firm of Greenspun and Mann, P.C., which is now Greenspun Shapiro PC. Melinda focused her practice on criminal defense, domestic relations and general civil litigation. She litigated over sixty (60) bench and jury trials in both federal and state courts regarding charges ranging from reckless driving and driving while intoxicated to drug conspiracy and immigration fraud charges.
