Bio:Paul Gertz has practiced law for nearly forty years - thirty of which have been spent in southeast Texas with an additional eight years of practice in the state of Colorado. Paul returned to Beaumont, Texas in 2013 to join his two sons, Ryan and Andrew, at The Gertz Law Firm.Paul has a long history of successful trial work in East Texas. After graduating with Honors from SMU Law School in Dallas, he joined the corporate firm of Orgain, Bell & Tucker in Beaumont where he quickly began to represent people sued in automobile accidents and businesses sued for personal injuries and for other business matters. For years, Paul was in trial nearly every month in many of the various courts of East Texas. As his experience grew, so did the size of the cases he handled. Paul quickly became a trial lawyer respected by Judges, fellow attorneys, as well as his clients. In 1982, Paul became certified as a Personal Injury and Civil Trial Specialist by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization (he retained that certification until 2007, when he did not apply for recertification while practicing in Colorado).
