Bio:After graduating from the University of Tennessee College of Law, Scott began his career clerking for Chief Justice William M. Barker of the Tennessee Supreme Court. During his clerkship, Scott researched a wide variety of complex issues and assisted with drafting opinions. Once he completed his clerkship, Scott joined Paine, Tarwater, and Bickers in September of 2008 as an associate. During his time with the firm, he has devoted a significant portion of his practice to defending clients involved in product liability cases across the country. He has gained in-depth experience concerning expert witnesses and discovery management in multiple jurisdictions.
