Courtney earned her Juris Doctorate in May of 2007 from The University of Toledo School of Law, cum laude, where she served as a teaching assistant to Constitutional Law and Civil Procedure courses, was named to the Dean's List, and was the recipient of The Mahoning County Bar Association Scholarship.
