Bio:Jane Santoni graduated from Loyola College in Maryland in 1983, Magna Cum Laude and Alpha Sigma Nu. She graduated from University of Maryland Law School in 1986. While there she served on the Moot Court Board and was awarded Quarter Finalist in the National Jerome Prince Evidence Competition. After clerking for Chief Judge Morris Turk in Annapolis, Maryland Circuit Court, she became a trial lawyer with USF&G (later St. Paul) insurance company, where she handled thousands of personal injury cases and hundreds of trials during her 14-year tenure with these companies. In 2002 Ms. Santoni started her own firm with partner Joe Williams. In addition to personal injury cases, Ms. Santoni began a consumer law practice which now comprises about 85% of her work. She has successfully tried and settled mortgage fraud, automobile fraud, warranty, illegal repossession, insurance denials and debt collection cases and continues to fight for her clients against consumer abuses. Ms. Santoni has been interviewed on consumer issues by CBS, NBC and Fox television, and has been quoted in national publications as well as The Baltimore Sun and The Daily Record.
