Bio:Kayla Rae Hathaway, a St. Petersburg native, is a 2011 graduate of Stetson University College of Law where she earned a full merit scholarship. While in law school, Kayla was a member of the prestigious Phi Delta Phi legal honors society and was on the honor roll. Prior to law school, Kayla graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of South Florida in Tampa, majoring in communications. At Rice and Rose, Kayla's concentration is on DUI defense litigation, employment law, and general practice. Kayla previously served as a Dependency Attorney for the Florida Department of Children and Families and most recently was a Felony Trial Lawyer with the Seventh Circuit State Attorney's Office.
