Bio:Miranda Mills prides herself on being an active trial lawyer who is unafraid to advocate for her clients in a courtroom, because she knows what it is like to be involved in family court. Miranda’s husband fought for and won custody of his son (Miranda’s stepson) when he was a toddler. This experience gives her a powerful understanding of how stressful and uncertain family courts can be. This personal experience has also motivated her to continue to advance her skills in the courtroom. She recently attended the prestigious Gerry Spence Trial Lawyers College in order to continue advancing her courtroom advocacy skills. She has been named Top 40 Under 40 by the National Trial Lawyers Association and a Super Lawyers Rising Star. Miranda is also an active member in the North Carolina Advocates for Justice. She recently co-authored the first edition of the New Lawyers Survival Guide and was featured as a Rising Star in the April 2019 edition of NCAJ Trial Briefs magazine.
