Bio:I was raised in Dallas, Georgia; however I have resided in New Orleans for the last several years. I graduated cum laude from the University of Georgia in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in criminal justice. Thereafter, I worked for a residential real estate law firm in Atlanta, Georgia for a few years before starting law school at Louisiana State University School of Law where I received my Juris Doctorate and Bachelor of Civil Law in 2008. I also received a Certificate in Global Arbitration Law and Practice. During law school, I clerked for a firm performing work as in-house counsel for large national insurance company. Following law school, I joined a small general practice law firm in 2008 as an associate attorney and was actively involved in the defense of products liability, employment, insurance, and general liability matters. I also had experience with plaintiff cases involving Katrina insurance litigation, personal injury and civil rights.
