Bio:I went to UC Berkeley when the Free Speech Movement happened in 1964.  It was quite an education to see how a peaceful protest was dealt with by the police and the public.  After four turbulent years at Cal, I went to Hastings College of the Law--the oldest accredited law school in Calfironia.  I was taught by the men who wrote the books on the law, and received a great education.  I always fought for the underdog, so it was natural for me to work in the area of Criminal Defense.  Over the past 45 years, I have extensive experience in civil law, including personal injury, medical malpractice, construction, and family law, although now I only do criminal defense.  I've been voted as a Super Lawyer, and have earned the respect of judges and lawyers alike.  I have an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell.  I've tried well over 100 jury trials ranging from petty theft to first degree murder.  I've been fortunate to have obtained positive results in many of those cases.  I fight for my clients to obtain eitehr the best deal possible, or if required, an acquittal in a jury trial.  I taught criminal law at Skyline College in the 1970's.  I have been a guest speaker for continuing education classes.  I had a portion of a closing argument published in a book on closing arguments.  My fees are reasonable, considering my expertise and experience.  I will work for you.
