★☆☆☆☆ - Deceives to get the retainer, then GHOSTS the client. - Brett Lyons - 11/16/2025 - flag as inappropriate - comment
Not a reputable or trustworthy attorney, not even close. She manipulated and deceived me to get me into the office to give her money. Said she could finish up our probate for us for a $3500 retainer. Once I paid her the $3500, she GHOSTED me for almost a month. She did not answer my email or phone calls. She didn't even file a substitution of attorney with the court, advise me of my upcoming court date or ask my old attorney for my records like she said she would do immediately after we retained her. When I finally made contact, almost a month later none of the things she was supposed to do were even started. After checking Google reviews, Nikki got a 1.8 rating and this is her M.O. Multiple reviews state she makes promises to get the retainer, but doesn't follow through on those promises, doesn't return phone calls and is dodging other clients that retained her, as well. Nikki has left us no choice but to file a police report and an official complaint with the California and Colorado bar. There are 5 other reviews / complaints on Google that collaborate, almost the exact same situation as mine. Some people been waiting years for a phone call. Nikki recently moved offices and changed her office phone number. No one answers when you call and there is no voicemail. 760-404-0382 BEWARE of Nikki B. Allen (Ahrenholz).
