I hired Wade when my children's mother moved my one and two year old children to Houston without my consent and had the Houston Attorney General's Office file a child support action in Houston against me. Wade immediately filed a Suit Affecting Parent Child Relationship lawsuit in Austin, had the Houston Attorney General's case dismissed and obtained an Order naming me as the Possessory Conservator with primary possession. Wade responded to my texts and calls immediately and was thoroughly prepared at the hearing. Excellent Attorney!

Wade has advised and represented our businesses for numerous years. His advise, counsel and representation have netted us significant gains and windfalls. In addition, Wade obtained a judgment on our behalf against a well known con-man in Austin who defrauded us. At the time Wade obtained the judgment, there were several prefected judgements ahead of us. Wade diligently pursued collection efforts, had a fraudulent lien against his non exempt assets set aside, and showed up at his house with a Writ of Execution and the Constable who seized his prized sports car, motorcycle, gun collection and watch collection to satisfy a portion of the judgment. We enjoyed driving the fraudster’s car for many years. The fraudster then moved to California and restarted his con. When Wade discovered a California individual obtained a judgment against him, Wade convinced the individual to purchase our judgment. Highly recommended!

I highly recommend Wade. My ex made up allegations and got the Attorney General’s Office to obtain an Temporary Ex-Parte Restraining Order where I couldn’t see my 4 year old daughter. At the hearing, Wade’s cross examination of my ex made it clear to the court she was lying and the Judge ruled in my favor and restored all my rights to my daughter.

I recommend Wade without any hesitations. Unfortunately, I have had to hire several attorneys over the years due to legal disputes with my son's father. Wade stood head and shoulders above the rest. He was very patient and attentively listened to my concerns and desired outcomes. He advised me which items on my "wish list" could likely be obtained and which ones would not likely be granted by the Court. During times of extreme stress during the litigation, when I was making poor decisions or getting overly emotional, Wade would put on his "counselor" hat on and get me back on track. Wade gave me his cell phone number and would respond to my calls or texts even during the evening and on weekends. Most recently, I had to take my son's father to court because he wouldn't agree to a neuropsychologist's recommendation for a follow up neuropsychological exam. As a result of me filing suit, he didn't pay child support for several months. That put me in a precarious financial position and I was almost evicted. Wade directly intervened with my landlord, explained the situation, and worked out a resolution. The end result of the litigation was beyond my expectations. Not only did Wade get my son the needed neuropsychological exam and obtained an increase in child support, he got my son's father to pay 100% of private school tuition and fees at a school better suited for my son. Wade got him to pay attorney's fees as well.

I highly recommend Wade Jefferies. Wade has both represented my previous business as outside “in-house” counsel and represented me in a contentious divorce. Representing my prior business, Wade helped the business navigate through numerous challenges, growing pains and the different desires of the owners. When our business encountered a problem that was outside Wade’s “wheelhouse”, he would refer the business to an appropriate attorney who specialized in this area. During my divorce, Wade walked me through every step of the process and obtained a result, both financially and in regards to my children, that was very favorable to me. One of the things I appreciated most about Wade was his availability at all times. He gave me his cell phone number at our first meeting and told me that I could call or text him at any time - including evening and weekends. There were numerous times that I contacted him during non-working hours and he promptly replied to discuss the situation at hand and discuss strategies to resolve them.

I have known Wade for over 20 years and he has assisted me with several personal and business legal matters. Wade always provides, straight, forthright advice even if it is advice that you don't want to hear. He is a straight shooter. He doesn't tell you that you have a great case at the beginning to get you to retain him only to later inform you, several bills later, that your case has issues - as many attorneys do. On numerous occasions I have called or texted Wade on his cell during the evening or on weekends with a quick legal question and he spends the time to answer them and doesn't even charge me for it. Wade is an excellent attorney and I would recommend him to anyone.

Wade is an exceptional lawyer, both with his legal skills and his personal attention to his clients.  I owned a Residential Remodeling Company (now retired) and I always turned to Wade for advice and counsel.  When sued, I hired Wade to defend the lawsuit.  Wade always immediately returned my calls and texts (yes, he provides his clients’ with his cell phone number) even if they were late at night or on the weekend.  When my company was sued in a construction defect case, I was extremely anxious.  Wade calmed me down, analyzed the case, and advised us that he felt we would likely receive a defense verdict at trial and therefore not to pay the Plaintiff’s outrageous settlement demand.  The case went to trial, we obtain a defense verdict and were completely vindicated.  Wade also reviewed our standard contract and advised us that it did not provide my LLC with the necessary protections.  Wade drafted a new contract which was far superior to the previous one.  Finally, in my opinion Wade’s rate and charges were extremely reasonable given his skills, experience and Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent rating.
