Working with this lawyer has been a pain in my existence since I first contacted him. I suppose most of my troubles are because I didn't realize that he isn't a criminal lawyer yet he still took my money and incompetently fumbled my case, thank God that I fired him and got good lawyers before my case went to trial because the prosecutor would have ate him alive. I understand that he and the prosecutor live in the same city and are considered friends so while they are playing buddy buddy, I didn't have anyone on my side to fight for me and make sure that my concerns where the top priority. I do regret hiring him and spending the money yet I am thankful that I found someone (different criminal lawyers) that actually fought for me and I actually received probation when Mr. Heben had me doing close to 2-3 years in prison. I just wished that he was honest from the beginning about having no clue how to handle my case, because I would be the one that would receive the short end of the stick.
