Bio:Sarah Minchener Jalali is a senior associate in the Intellectual Property practice group in Howrey's San Francisco office. Ms. Jalali specializes in patent litigation covering various electrical, mechanical, and chemical technologies, and successfully represents clients at trial and appellate levels in federal courts and arbitration forums throughout the United States. Ms. Jalali also has extensive experience litigating complex commercial and other matters in several practice areas, including antitrust, health care, real estate, mass tort, corporate, and white collar criminal law. She represented Sun Microsystems in the prosecution of its antitrust claims against Microsoft, which culminated in the largest settlement ever reported between two parties in private antitrust litigation. In addition, Ms. Jalali authored an amicus brief on behalf of the Government of Japan regarding the enforcement of the Foreign Trade Antitrust Improvements Act, a brief the Supreme Court relied on and cited to in its opinion in F.
