Bio:Since entering private practice in August of 2006, Ann N. Luu has focused exclusively on family law, and she has appeared in all of the circuit courts and juvenile and domestic relations district courts in Northern Virginia. Before entering private practice, Ann completed a two-year clerkship with The Honorable Richard B. Potter, then Chief Judge, of the Prince William County Circuit Court. During her clerkship, Ann also assisted the Prince William County Bar Association in completely revising its "Domestic Relations Practice Guidelines," a publication designed to assist attorneys in navigating the court system. Throughout her career, Ann has represented a variety of clients and handled a wide variety of high complex legal issues, including but not limited to, equitable distribution matters, challenging custody disputes, child and spousal support, protective orders, multi-jurisdictional cases, and business valuations. Ann has also successfully negotiated many prenuptial and post-nuptial agreements. Ann believes that best outcome in any case is one where the client controls the outcome, which is usually through the mediation process.
