Anna grew up in Harford County and attended University of Baltimore. She graduated summa cum laude with her Bachelor of Arts in Human Services Administration and a minor in Philosophy. While at the University of Baltimore, Anna volunteered at Anna’s House, a transitional housing program for victims of domestic violence and interned at the Harford County State’s Attorney’s Office in the Domestic Violence Unit. It was during this time that Anna discovered her passion for helping disadvantaged individuals, especially those who may not have the means to afford traditional representation. Anna continued her education at the University of Baltimore School of Law and graduated magna cum laude. She completed a Family Law Concentration and was involved in the Bronfein Family Law Clinic as a Rule 16 Student Attorney, where she represented clients in divorce and domestic violence proceedings. Anna received two public interest grants for her work at the Women’s Law Center, working on the Trafficking Victims Post Conviction Advocacy Project and the Sexual Assault Spousal Abuse Resource Center (SARC).
