She was also a member of the Society for Dispute Resolution, and competed in the National Baseball Arbitration Competition, in New Orleans, Louisiana. She served as a chairperson on the Domestic Violence Human Rights Resolution Committee, and also provided guidance to her peers through the Student Bar Association Peer Mentorship Program. During law school, Ashley completed a fellowship at the United States Attorney’s Office, in Washington, D.C. She acted as a student attorney prosecuting domestic violence cases on behalf of the District of Columbia. She began her litigation experience by serving as first and second chair for bench trials, jury trials, and hearings.
