First off, let me start by saying that in the past quarter century in the legal field, I have never met an attorney I liked. They are all bottom feeders in one form or another. The few that remain ethical will eventually succumb, it is just a matter of time. Field is totally unprofessional in my opinion and past legal experiences. His tactics are always the same from what I can gather. His goal is to make money for himself, that's it, plain and simple. He cares nothing about his clients. All he cares about is getting paid and will travel every route possible to drag the action on to increase his legal fees. You may read on other sites reviews from people that have said he was great and handled their case with experience, etc., however, they never tell us what the case actually was. I bet they just got lucky that their matter fell within his limited knowledge or maybe their matter was just that cut and dry. Most likely, it was the opposing counsel that just gave up trying to deal with this shyster and ended the matter as quickly as they could to save that client from paying additional legal fees. Any positive outcome for Field's clients surely do not come from his expertise but from dumb luck or the other side giving up due to Field's lack of competence. All the negative reviews written on other are true from what I have seen and heard from others. I refuse to believe he actually cares about his clients or his work product would be better. He withholds information from his clients regarding possible settlements and outcomes. He enjoys staged conflicts so you can forget having a civil meeting with him, it will always be a confrontation. He is a bully and uses scare tactics akin to that of a lowly bill collector. He is inappropriate in the courtroom setting. If I was a potential client and saw the way he was in court, I'd look elsewhere, after I stopped laughing of course. I even heard him joke about billable hours in the courtroom before the judge entered. Would you hire someone that said that? His documents are noticeably drafted by cutting and pasting prior versions and they're not proofread either. In my opinion, he doesn't care what the outcome of any motion is as he will make money either way. This is probably why he does matrimonial and family law matters. If he did strictly personal injury cases, he'd starve. Watch his tune change once he knows he'll paid, before that, he does nothing to help the situation or his client.
