Peterson, Esquire is a graduate of the University of Florida where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 1978, followed by a law degree from the University of Florida, College of Law in 1982. Born and raised in Gainesville, Florida, Mr. Peterson resided continuously there until his graduation from law school, at which time he relocated to Jacksonville, where he has practiced law since 1982. Over the last 27 years, Mr. Peterson has maintained a general practice with a primary focus on family law matters and bankruptcy. Mr. Peterson's practice also extends to criminal law, probate, traffic, wills, civil and guardianships. A substantial portion of Mr. Peterson's practice has been devoted to representing military personnel in state court proceedings, having maintained an office outside of Mayport Naval Station for almost 14 years.
