Bio:Kurt was born and raised in Kaysville, Utah. He graduated from Davis High School in 1996 and then devoted two years to serving the LDS church, in Mexico. Kurt returned in 2000, and despite his allegiance to BYU, obtained his undergraduate Degree in 2005 from the University of Utah. Kurt married his wife, Melissa, that same year and began working with the firm as a paralegal while Melissa finished nursing school and he prepared for law school. In 2010, Kurt received his Juris Doctor from Washburn University School of Law and was sworn in to the Utah State Bar in 2011. Since joining the firm, Kurt's primary focus has been in domestic and family law area, but has made contract litigation and criminal law matters a major part of his practice. Kurt's time and experience as an intern for the Second Judicial Court as a volunteer representing victims of domestic violence has assisted Kurt in his practice. Kurt is a dedicated, analytical, and bright young attorney with a long future ahead of him. Kurt is a father of five children, four daughters and one son.
