Bio:Laura Borden Riddell has extensive experience in the legislative and political arenas, both at the state and federal levels, and in civil litigation. Mrs. Riddell has represented clients in state and federal courts in Louisiana as well as California. She is admitted to practice before all California state courts, the United States District Courts of Appeal for both the Fifth and Ninth Circuits, and all Louisiana state and federal courts. Mrs. Riddell received her B.A. in International Relations from the University of California, Davis and her Juris Doctor from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. She also has a Certificate in International Legal Studies from the University of Salzburg. During her last year of law school, Mrs. Riddell worked as a certified law student in the Yolo County District Attorney’s Office, prosecuting over 100 court trials in traffic court. During law school, she worked as a Legislative Aide for three members of the California Legislature.
