Bio:Stephen J. Greene, Jr., is a graduate of the University of San Diego (B.A in International Relations) and University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law (J.D., with distinction, and Traynor Honor Society). He is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts in California, in the U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeal, and the United States Supreme Court.While in law school, Mr. Greene worked in the California State Assembly, as Assembly Reading Clerk, and then later as legislative staff to Assemblyman Fred Aguiar and Assembly Speaker Curt Pringle. In 1997, Governor Pete Wilson appointed Mr. Greene as Assistant General Counsel to the California Resources Agency, where he worked on revisions to the Guidelines for implementation of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), and provided legal counsel to the Secretary for Resources and other Agency officials on a variety of employment and administrative matters. Between 1998 and 2004, Mr. Greene practiced law with both local (Kronick Moskovitz) and national (Seyfarth Shaw) law firms, in such varied areas as business law, antitrust, environmental law, class actions, wage-and-hour law, and employment law.
