Bio:	Alexander C. Raymond was raised in Southern California and graduated from UCLA. He moved to Virginia after being accepted into the prestigious law school of Washington & Lee University. Mr. Raymond sought and was awarded an internship with the Staunton County Office of the Public Defender where he soon appeared in both the General District and Juvenile & Domestic Relations Courts as a student advocate. After passing the Commonwealth of Virginia’s Bar Exam in the fall of 2005, Mr. Raymond accepted a position with the Office of the Public Defender in Fredericksburg, where he was quickly promoted to Senior Assistant Public Defender. During his time at the Office of the Public Defender, Mr. Raymond represented clients in the General District Court, Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court, and the Circuit Court in the counties of Stafford, Spotsylvania, King George and in the City of Fredericksburg. Mr. Raymond has represented clients on both felony and misdemeanor charges to include all charges from driving on a suspended license, to robbery and first degree murder.
