Rice at the Colorado Supreme Court. In those positions, Ms. Ferrin watched and learned from outstanding jurists and trial advocates.Ms. Ferrin then served nearly eleven years as a prosecutor in Arapahoe and Douglas Counties, becoming a Chief Deputy District Attorney. As a Deputy District Attorney she tried over 60 jury trials, spent years prosecuting crimes on behalf of the Special Victims’ Unit, and ended her career as a supervisor in the County Court. As a member of the Special Victims’ Unit, she devoted her time and energy to helping vulnerable victims, primarily children and at-risk individuals. Additionally, her office recognized her excellence in advocacy in and out of the courtroom by promoting her to a position training and mentoring new prosecutors.
