Bio:Augie Moss is a criminal defense lawyer practicing in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. Mr. Moss graduated from Chicago's St. Ignatius College Prep in 2000 and received a Bachelor of Arts degree with a minor in business law from the University of Miami in Florida in 2004. He attended Loyola University of Chicago School of Law from 2005 to 2008, and received a Juris Doctor in May of 2008. Mr. Moss began his education in criminal defense as a law clerk at the firm of Durkin & Roberts under the tutelage of the preeminent Chicago criminal defense lawyer Thomas Anthony Durkin, and currently maintains an Of-Counsel relationship with the firm. In November 2008, Mr. Moss established his own criminal defense practice in Wilmette, Illinois. He also works closely with Thomas C. Brandstrader, one of a select group of highly qualified lawyers to be certified by the Illinois Supreme Court as lead counsel in death penalty cases. Mr. Moss is a member of the Chicago Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, the Florida Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
