Bio:	Bruce Greenspan was born in Detroit, Michigan in 1952 and raised in Jacksonville, where he attended public schools, graduating from high school in 1970. After receiving his B.S. degree (with high honors) from the University of Florida in 1974, Bruce received his J.D. (law), degree from the University of Florida College of Law, Holland Law Center, with honors, in 1976, and was admitted to The Florida Bar as a practicing attorney in May, 1977. Bruce began his legal career as an Assistant Public Defender in the Office of the Public Defender, Fourth Judicial Circuit of Florida (Jacksonville), in January, 1977, defending persons charged with crimes ranging from DWI to robbery and murder. He left the Public Defender’s Office in June, 1979, as Felony Division Chief, having tried cases to jury verdict on the average of once a month throughout his tenure. Since June, 1979, Bruce has been engaged in private law practice in Jacksonville, initially as a solo practitioner, then in partnership as Greenspan & Goodstein, Attorneys at Law, then as Greenspan, Goodstein & Link, Attorneys at Law, representing individuals and families in all manner of litigation, including criminal defense, marital and family law, and personal injury cases.
