Bio:Peer Reviewed | During his 10 years at the Justice Department, Henry conducted and supervised dozens of jury trials in courtrooms around the United States. He most recently served as Director of Litigation for the United States Attorney’s Office (USAO) in the Middle District of Tennessee. In that role, he supervised the trial work of approximately 40 Assistant United States Attorneys in the office’s civil and criminal divisions. He also led the office’s trial advocacy training program. From 2017 to 2019, Henry served as White-Collar Chief and led a team of AUSAs focused on health care fraud, securities fraud, tax fraud, public corruption and criminal violations of the federal Anti-Kickback Statute. During this time, Henry worked closely with officials in the Justice Department’s Criminal Division as well as leadership in the FBI, the Department of Health and Human Services’ Office of Inspector General, the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation. He also helped set up the Appalachian Regional Prescription Opioid Strike Force, which focuses on the identification and prosecution of medical professionals and others involved in the illegal prescription and distribution of opioids. Henry joined the USAO’s white-collar unit as an Assistant United States Attorney in 2015.
