I received my LLB (now Juris Doctor) from Tulane University, New Orleans Louisiana in 1966 and was admitted to the Louisiana Bar.I practiced law in Lafayette, Louisiana until 1984 when I became the Commissioner for the 15th Judicial District Court for Acadia, Lafayette, and Vermillion Parishes.
