In addition to his law practice, he serves as a part-time Municipal Court Judge for the Cities of Talent and Phoenix, Oregon. He is a pro-tem Municipal Court Judge for the City of Medford. He also has at various times served as Municipal Court Judge for the Cities of Central Point, Butte Falls and Shady Cove. For many years he has worked as an arbitrator for the Jackson County Circuit Court arbitration program. A graduate of the University of Oregon School of Law in 1974, he also received his Bachelor of Science Degree from the U of O in 1969. He is a proud Duck and bleeds green and yellow. Following college graduation in 1969, he served in the United States Army from September of 1969 until September of 1971 and holds an honorable discharge.
