Bio:Robert Hiden was a partner in Sullivan & Cromwell's General Practice Group from 1968 to 1999, when he retired as a partner to Of Counsel status. He has extensive experience in securities, transactional, M&A and regulatory matters involving a range of clients including commercial and industrial companies, bank holding companies, financial institutions, broker-dealers and public utilities. Mr. Hiden established the Firm's Commodities, Futures and Derivatives Group in the early 1980s and was heavily involved in advising a broad range of clients regarding off-exchange commodity and derivative products and transactions, including those involving securities and financial instruments. Mr. Hiden is a former member of the Executive Committee of the New York State Bar Association's Business Law Section, and served as Chairman of the State Bar's Committee on Futures Regulation.
