Bio:	Tom Bowlus was born and raised in Fremont, Ohio, and is a graduate of Fremont Ross High School. He earned a Bachelor’s of Science, with distinction, and a Juris Doctor, both from The Ohio State University. Tom joined his father, William R. Bowlus, in the practice of law in 1998, and he is the Managing Member at The Bowlus Law Firm, Ltd. in Fremont, Ohio, where he also owns and operates Park Avenue Title Agency, Inc. William is now retired. Prior to going into private practice, Tom worked for the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency in Columbus, Ohio. While at Ohio EPA, Tom's duties included the coordination of all legislation, rules, policies and guidance within the Division of Emergency and Remedial Response, and he spent two years as the primary rule writer for Ohio's Voluntary Action Program. Tom was admitted to the Ohio State Bar in 1994, and is an active member of the Ohio State Bar Association and the Sandusky County Bar Association (of which he is a past president).
