Bio:Ed Lawson has practiced law since 1982. He began his legal career in the Upstate as assistant county attorney in Spartanburg, S.C. He then moved to Horry County to work with a small defense firm for seven years. It was there that Ed developed his litigation skills defending auto injury claims, premises liability claims and commercial claims. Ed started his own firm in 1990, which merged with Turner Padget in 2007. Through these years, Ed has continued to represent corporations, businesses and individuals.
