About: Attorney Boyd is committed to providing individuals with high quality legal representation. He was appointed to the United States Military Academy at West Point, but instead chose to complete his undergraduate studies at The Ohio State University, earning a Bachelor of Arts, English, Magna Cum Laude. He attended law school at the University of Akron and earned his Juris Doctorate in the top third of his class.
He was licensed to practice law in the State of Ohio in 2005, at which time he worked for three years as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney in the Richland County Prosecutor's Office. He engaged in the private practice of law for six years with Baran, Piper, Tarkowsky & Fitzgerald, Co., LPA before starting Attorney Boyd Law Office, Ltd. in May, 2015. He also has employment experience as the Human Resources Director for the Kokosing Construction Company based in Fredericktown, Ohio. In addition to his state license, he is licensed to practice in the federal United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio (2008) and the Southern District of Ohio (2011).
