About: Megan L. Hodgkins is the founding member of Hodgkins Law, PLLC, where she focuses her practice on estate planning, asset protection planning, elder law, and MaineCare planning. She is an experienced attorney admitted to practice in both Maine and New York. Hodgkins Law, PLLC is the only American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys (AAEPA) member firm in the state of Maine, and in order to maintain this advanced expertise, Megan takes over 36 hours of continuing education in Estate Planning, Elder Law, and Taxation each year. She is also a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) and the Maine State Bar Association. Megan graduated from Colby College with a B.A. in Psychology, received her J.D. from University of Maine School of Law, and received her LL.M. in Taxation from New York Law School.
