- Mr. Keaveney is amazing and is tough on the banks. - - Shawn Hall - 12/23/2016 - flag as inappropriate - comment
This firn works with people like peanut butter and jelly!!! My experience with Mr. Keaveney was one I will never forget. He works hard, but smart. He loves talking to all of his clients while most other firms hire a team of paralegals to do all the work; this firm and the attorneys have a hands on approach to every case. If anyone is considering this firm I have one thing to say. You can't afford to NOT hire this firm. The will not sit around and wait. They attack the problem. They do not paint pictures of skittles and rainbows, no sir...they told me what to expect good and bad..kept me up to date with the entire process and I was so ecstatic that I would def hire this firm for my family if they needed it. Thanks Mr. Keaveney and to all your staff. You are truly tough like a junk yard dog with the charm of a a politician.

We were in big trouble and I was certain we would not be able to pull out of our mess. My team at Keaveney put up with my stress and stayed with me until I finally got a house payment I could live with. The bankers are all crooks and won't work with you. If you need help to keep from losing your house call these guys. Also, the other two attorneys I talked to said I had to file bankruptcy. I didn't and still kept my house.

- You have all been my rock! - - Shan and Matt C - 10/21/2016 - flag as inappropriate - comment
It all started 3 years ago. I got sick and couldn't work and my husband took it all on his shoulders. We explained we had applied for disability but they takes forever. We tried to work with the bank but they "never received our papers" or "a new person is reviewing" etc. We got in over our heads and had a housing counselor "help" us who caused more damage then good. We came to you guys and our team has been amazing!!!! My rock and support through it all. I know we pay these people however they don't need to go over and beyond like they have. I am not the easiet to deal with and our bank has been horrible but they made it work for us! They fought and never gave up on us. We are happily staying in our house and saving money on our mortgage. I will never be able to thank my team enough.

I cannot thank everyone at this firm enough!! Excellent people that are actually willing and able to help. I've been searching for years trying to find an answer. I am so happy to say that I am able to finally relax and not stress thanks to them!

Thank you so much for sticking through this with me! It was a long road (over 3 years!) I tried to fight the bank, but I finally got you guys involved, you helped me with the summary judgment stage and right before trial, we worked out a VERY nice resolution! I may not have been the easiest client, but you guys certainly helped at every step of the way, no complaints. Thanks again for helping me save my house!

- Deceitful - - Amazed - 6/3/2016 - flag as inappropriate - comment
This company's ongoing deceitful practices is amazing. They control these reviews and delete negative reviews, overlap and deny thier deceitful behavior and practices. mostly they took my negative story/review and verbatim implemented a positive version to dispelled any other negative review. All of these reviews are recorded by this firm. The day after I left my negative review Mr. Thomas called me read it to me and then Yelled at me.
James Keaveney - 8/16/2016 - Hi I am Jim Keaveney, founder of Keaveney Legal Group. This reviewer has not provided a name so I cannot address whatever concerns they might have which is unfortunate. Firstly, Mr. Thomas has not been with our firm in almost a year. I note that the title of the review is "Deceitful". I can assure you that the firm is not deceitful in the slightest. This review however, is very deceitful since it makes several claims that are obviously not true.. We do face a lot of competition from other firms that practice mortgage foreclosure defense and we have caught them writing negative reviews about our firm. I cannot say that is what has happened here. However, you will note that the writer claims that we delete negative reviews. If the was true, this review and the other negative reviews would be deleted. We do not have the ability to do that. It also claims that we "record" the reviews. We do have the ability to read our reviews and respond to them where appropriate. We do not record them. If a genuine client leaves a negative review we will often contact them to get information as to why they were dissatisfied and to see if we can do anything to rectify their issue. That is was any good business that cares about its clients would do. - flag

I felt like I was on my last leg . My mortgage company ran me through the mill for 8 years. Then I found the Keaveney Legal Group on the internet. I explained what happen to them and the mortgage company said after 8 years of doing everything I was told said no and I was going to lose my home. This was in July of 2015. The Keaveney group came in and told me what I had to do and when and how and followed up on everything and in 7 months it was done they saved my home for me. THEY ARE WONDERFUL . THEY ARE VERY PROFFESIONAL AND WORK WE YOU EVERYY STEP OF THE WAY. If you need help saving your home call them . I AM HAPPY I DID AND I AM FOREVER GREATFUL
      - 10/28/2019 - Oh how right you are! Deceitful is a kinder word than I would use. They suck you in by saying they have a tripple A with the BBB when you need help the most. Take your money and do nothing to actually help. You might as well give the bank your house. - flag

I went to the trouble of writing this review because of the great job Keaveney did for me. I would recommend them because they did exactly what they said they would do. I was in foreclosure and was fairly certain I was losing my home. They got me a loan modification and a new payment $243 less than before. They were friendly and treated me well. Nothing but good things to say.

If you are having trouble paying your house payment I hope you read this. Our nightmare started with my husband losing his job. He was only out of work for three months but that was enough for us to get behind on a house payment. Then when we tried to catch it up our mortgage company would not take a partial payment. Every time I called them to try to work something out with the bank I got a different person. They treated me like dirt. Then we got further behind because I got sick and had to be off work for 6 weeks. We tried to work with the bank to get a loan modification for over a year. We sent our paperwork to them and the first time they said they didn't get them. We finally had to start sending everything certified so they had to sign for them. Then every time I called it was someone else again. They kept asking for new paperwork or I had to keep sending the same thing over and over again because they said what I sent was expired. We finally gave up and were sure we were going to lose the house. We decided to file bankruptcy. My husband and I were fighting a lot and my kids were really unhappy because we had to move. My teenager was giving us a lot of trouble about it. I went on anti depressants. One of our friends told us we should try a foreclosure attorney. We saw one of Mr. Keaveney's videos on the web and called them. From day one they treated us very well. We had to send them the same paperwork we had tried to send to the bank but it was much more organized. They didn't try to promise anything but he said that if we got things in right away we would probably get a modification. Then they filed the foreclosure and Keaveney filed papers to stop it. If we hadn't been workign with them we probably would have just moved out at that point. Four months later we got approved for a modification! They added all of the back payments to the amount but because we got a lower interest rate our payment dropped $230! I am so thankful to these guys for getting us out of this mess. I will tell you if you are in the same boat not to try it on your own. It was a nightmare. I would call this firm. Good luck and God Bless

- LOAN MODIFICATION - - - 3/14/2016 - flag as inappropriate - comment
AFTER PAYING THIS FIRM MORE THAN 20,000 DOLLARS WE WERE TOLD TO FIND A NEW ATTORNEY TO HANDLE OUR CASE FOR BANKRUPTCY DUE TO LOAN MODIFICATION BEING DENIED, WE ARE NOW AT SQUARE ONE TWO YEARS LATER AFTER LOSING OVER 20,000 DOLLARS FOR NOTHING.
James Keaveney - 3/15/2016 - Hi, I am Jim Keaveney and I would like to take this opportunity to educate anyone reading this who is considering hiring our firm or another firm to help them with their foreclosure case. There are two reasons why people do not get a loan modification. The first is that they simply do not qualify for any type of modification. Each type of modification has its own specific set of rules and requirements. We are very familiar with all of them, and if you qualify, we will get you a modification, unless you fall into the second reason why people do not get loan modifications. Specifically, these are the people who bury their head in the sand and do not provide the lender with the documents which are necessary to submit a complete modification application. While the process is indeed a bit cumbersome, it can readily be accomplished, especially with the help of a good firm. It can actually be accomplished without outside help if one is really diligent and on top of things and savvy enough to not fall into the traps set by the lenders. Of course, if you have already been sued in foreclosure, you NEED an attorney to fight the case while you apply for a loan modification. We have had clients come to us and be done the entire process with 2-3 months with a great loan modification. But that is not the norm. Of course, 2 years is not the norm either. This particular client did not provide documents despite dozens of requests from our office. We constantly communicate to our clients the need to get documents in, to do it promptly and to update those documents constantly: for example updated pay stubs, etc. We have special letters and checklists designed to make it as easy as possible and to warn clients that we cannot help them get a modification if they do not get documents in immediately. Over my years of doing this I have seen so many not cooperate to their detriment. If you cooperate AND you qualify, you WILL GET A MODIFICATION! We know all their tricks and pitfalls. We know the regulations that bind them. Taking care of my family is my top priority and I depend on my reputation. Taking care of your family is my next priority. - flag

- Thanks for Everything! - - Eric - 2/17/2016 - flag as inappropriate - comment
After reading the reviews I had to add my input for the service I received. I made the first called to Keaveney Legal Group and felt comfortable with the level of urgency and how they wanted to help. The process was long and draining, but Keaveney always provided updates and continue to follow up with anything that was missing. Of course, you must do your part as a client and provide all the necessary paper work in a timely fashion. I am totally happy with the outcome and the 100% SERVICE I received from everyone at the Law Firm! I appreciate there hard work and thankful that they assisted with saving my home! Keep up the good work!!! They stood by my side from beginning to end. Modification is completed.

I was denied a modification several times by my mortgage company. Next I was taken advantage by a law firm promising me results and not returning my calls. Then with a final judgement of foreclosure on my home Keaveney stepped in and gave me all my options, an affordable payment plan , never lied to me and got me a modification to save my home. Thank you so much. I know we wouldnt be in our home without you..

- They do what they say! - - Mykellel Soto - 1/11/2016 - flag as inappropriate - comment
We had tried to get a loan modification due to a high interest rate, and we were dragged through an unsuccessful process for over five years and had fallen behind thousands of dollars and were over 18 months behind on our mortgage, our lender began foreclosure proceedings, and that's when the reality of eviction hit home. I looked on Goggle and started researching lawyers, I called a few and got different vibes from each. My fourth call was to Chris @ Keaveney who spend a good deal of time with me on the phone. I felt confident in his ability in spite of the fee he informed me of which I felt was high, but then I thought about the fact that you get what you pay for and losing my home was not an option. Their process was very well put together and we ended up with a modification which took us from 8.75% to 2%, we had to pay the mortgage company an initial amount over $4000.00 dollars to start the modification and after signing and paying we ended up getting an adjustment check from our mortgage company for almost $6000.00. Thast what I call getting what you pay for!!!

Our money problems started 2 years ago when I became unemployed for 6 months. That was all it took to get behind on our house payment. I tried to work with our bank. It took forever to get anyone that knew what they were talking about. They asked for financial papers from us and then lost them. It seemed like every time I called we got someone new that didn't know what they were doing. We finally got so upset we gave up. We didn't think we could save our home and actually started packing. It was probably one of the toughest things my wife and I have gone through. When we got the foreclosure notice we started calling attorneys. the first two attorneys we spoke with suggested filing bankruptcy. Then we talked to Keaveney. They said they could help if we did our part. They filed papers in court to stop our foreclosure. We had heard that these banks lose the note a lot. Unfortunately that was not the case with our house. We have read that the banks have committed a lot of fraud and I'm not surprised based on our experience. They are all idiots. But Keaveney was able to stop the foreclosure and then we applied to have our loan modified. After a couple of months we finally got an offer for the bank to give us a loan modification. And our payment went down! We went from packing and almost filing bankruptcy to being able to stay in our home and it would not have happened without these people. I hope we never need them again, but I would definitely recommend them. They gave us peace of mind and kept us in our home. They were not cheap but worth every penny

In fact, a lot of our business comes from referrals from past, satisfied clients. The fact is, I cannot respond specifically to this criticism because the poster has not identified themselves. If I had not found Keaveney I definitely would have lost my home. They were kind and pushed me to get what I needed together so we could as the bank to modify my loan. They helped me in a very scary situation. I highly recommend you call them if you need help.

I want to share my experience in the hopes that it will help other people that might also have difficulties now or in the future with their mortgage company or the possibility of losing their home. I wish I would have gotten this advice a long time ago. We had a really challenging last three years. I got cut to part time at my job for no fault of my own. I am finally back to full time again but was at about half pay for over 2 years. I love my job so I did not want to leave. I couldn't find another decent part time job. Around the same time my husband hurt his back. Normally this would not be a problem, but it did not happen at work and this time he could not work for several months. Things got really tough. We had to choose between eating or paying some of our bills. We only got three months behind on our house payment. When we tried to catch up the house payment the mortgage company sent back our partial payment. They wanted it totally caught up or they would not take it. That's what caused this to snowball. When we got our foreclosure notice we were sure we were going to have to file bankruptcy. We contacted several bankruptcy lawyers and even filled out most of the paperwork with one of them. Then thank God we came across Keaveney. They told us we should not file bankruptcy because we did not have a lot of other loans. Our main loan was the house. They said they could fight the foreclosure and then we could try to get our loan modified. We took a chance with them and I am really glad we did. It took a long time to get the bank to respond to our requests, probably because we were fighting them in court. They claimed they lost our papers and we had to send everything again. Then they held up the whole thing I hadn't signed our tax returns. But this has a happy ending! We got offered a modification of our mortgage and our payment actually went down a lot! We get to stay in this house and we did not have to file bankruptcy. The thought of having to file bankruptcy was really upsetting to us. We believe in paying our debts. Thanks to the nice people at Keaveney we get to stay here and for a lower payment. If you are in trouble, call these people. They can help!

I want to take some time to thank the Keaveney Legal Group for their outstanding service and committment to save me from a foreclosure and finalizing with a successful short sale. I have been struggling with this decision of the past five years and finally when I spoke to the firm I felt a reassurance that they would work in my favor. The response time from all staff members was terrific and although the directions above say not to mention a person's name I will chance saying that the personal service and committment to detail that I received from one of the staff in particular named Carol White was truly amazing and very professional. She followed up on every possiblity and I came out with an outstanding settlement and package. If not for this professional I could have lost thousands of dollars more in the end result. I thank the entire Keaveney Legal Group for truly outstanding service to the me the Client.

- Dissatisfied Client - - The Vaughns - 12/18/2015 - flag as inappropriate - comment
This law firm see your desperation from the start of your conversation. The client services representatives are trained on what to say and how to say it. You will never speak with an attorney for guidance on what is truly best for you. None of the business that is handled on their end is done in a timely manner so that in itself will leave you on edge. We begin our loan modification process June 2015 which I believe at this point our situation was to grave for this action and we should have taken another route. The advisor that we spoke to at this time said that he witnessed times wherein loan modification worked out even at such a grave state as ours. We paid Keaveney Legal Group $895 a month for six months not to mention a retainer fee, for them to help us and they gave us a shake down. Our loan modification was denied, during this time my husband laid off from his job in July 2015. One of the reasons stated for us being denied was that his paystubs was severance pay as well as unemployment which was not acceptable. Well this information wasn't new, why weren't we informed that this wasn't acceptable in July by someone from the office so we could go a different route then. So unknowingly, we continued to pay $895 because we thought this law firm would help us from beginning to end. Well, when we were informed by our mortgage company of this we immediately called Keaveney Legal Group to inform them of this response and asked if we would be able to pursue bankruptcy. I was told by our "client rep" that he would speak to someone in their bankruptcy department and get back to me. I waited over the weekend for him to contact me and was never contacted by anyone from the Group to let us know anything. I reached out to the Manager of Client Services and explained to her what happened and expressed how we wanted to move forward with bankruptcy and her response was "we are not currently handling bankruptcy cases so if you do want to pursue it I would get on this rather quickly"... REALLY! And she offered me names to more lawyers. So now, I have to pay an entirely different group of attorneys to do something that was one of my options with Keaveney Legal Group from the beginning. If we had better counsel by one of the attorney's from Keaveney Legal Group we may not be in this position. We are back at square one from when we initially called back in June, mid-December three weeks shy of losing our home almost $9000 given to this firm and nothing. So, for those that are reading this review please take heed. Of course I couldn't put everything in this review however this is the gist of what we experienced. The owner of this law firm along with his other colleagues can't comment on what happened with our case because not one time did I speak to any one of them. If notes from your staff is all that you can go on well, I have my notes too. So what would make their notes right and mine wrong. Keaveney Legal Group your firm ripped us OFFF! How can you sleep well knowing that you take from people that are already in financial distress.

I just fired this company after paying $600, each month and waiting to here from them, each time a different person would contact me, I could not keep up with who I was talking each month., Not only that, they set up a meeting and gave me the address in Cherry Hill, go there only to find out there where no one in the office. They called to ell me I was not approved, for a home mod, later I received a letter from my mortgage co. stating the home mod trial period had expired. I was never informed of the, and that I was approved. Please be careful with who you trust., Also call your mortgage company directly, you can apply for a home mod without a legal bill.

- From Beginning To End... - - S. Olejarz - 12/7/2015 - flag as inappropriate - comment
Jim, Josh and the entire Keaveney team assisted me in fending off efforts by the mortgage company to foreclose and take my home of 10 years. After being devastated by Superstorm Sandy like many others, and falling behind on the mortgage, rather than helping matters the bank only made it worst by entering into a protracted loan modification process, which in the end did not complete as they they ultimately saw it fit to initiate foreclosure proceedings. With Keaveney's help we formulated a solid approach to fight back the attempt to fast track this foreclosure. Albeit the bank and its law firm engaged in a drawn out fight (> a year), we stood our ground and in the end were on the right side and adverted the foreclosure and successfully received a loan modification. The confidence and professionalism of the team made all the difference in the outcome. Each situation is unique, but I would recommend Keaveney Legal Group to anyone faced with a like situation. Thank you again!

Every other law firm talked about filing bankruptcy. If you need help to save your home I highly recommend Keaveney. They filed papers to fight my foreclosure and helped me file for a modification of my loan. I hated dealing with my ripoff mortgage company. Their team was a real pleasure to work with and they saved me $400 on my mortgage payment! I was sure we were going to lose our house. That was the worst time in my life. I called them a lot because of the fear but it all worked out and they did what they said they should be able to do. If I had not lost my job I would not have had this happen, but in the end I got a lower payment and a better job! Cannot say enough about these people if you need help.

I had a great experience with this law firm. They stopped my foreclosure and gave me time to get a loan modification. My new payment stayed the same, but I would never have been able to catch it up. I only got one payment behind and then it mushroomed. These banks are the worst. I think they actually want people in foreclosure. I keep reading about them paying big billion dollar penalties for ripping people off. Are we every going to see any of this money? Not likely. Keaveney's people are nice and put up with a lot of stress from me. I would recommend them.

Mr. Keaveney asked me write a note about our experience with his law firm. I am happy to do that. It has been a very positive experience. We got in financial trouble and our house went into foreclosure. We contacted our mortgage company and tried to get our payment lowered. They seemed to make it hard to accomplish anything on purpose. We did not want to file bankruptcy and lose our home. Once we called Keaveney they filed motions to fight our foreclosure and then started collecting our paperwork to file for a loan modification. The people we've spoken with are nice and they seem to really care. They have submitted our loan modification request and we are waiting to hear back from them. Any time we call we get a call back within 24 hours. It did take us a few months to get everything together for them because we had to do a personal financial statement which I've never done before but they helped me with it. They have done everything they have said they would so I am satisfied. They have taken a huge amount of stress off of me. I was having trouble sleeping and losing weight. I feel like if I had continued to try to do this myself it would have taken years off my life and I probably would not have succeeded. I would recommend them.

- The trend continues.... - - - 9/23/2015 - flag as inappropriate - comment
They did what the earlier comment said- posting positive comments after a negative! Too bad they used comments from earlier in the thread! They are frauds- they will take your money and do nothing in return. Their offices are fronts and do not actually have leases in the buildings. My lawyer told us to report them to the BBB and Attorney Generals office in NJ. Their scam is to keep their action's legal, but their practices are unethical. Heed the warning!!!!!!!!!!
Jim Keaveney - 9/24/2015 - My name is Jim Keaveney, founder of Keaveney Legal Group. I am proud to help hundreds of people save their homes every year. Please do not allow an anonymous person on the internet to dissuade you from getting the help you need whether it be from us, or from another firm. Our firm has continued to grow, tripling in size over the past couple of years. Why? Because we provide OUTSTANDING service and most of our clients refer their friends and family to us. In fact, most of our business comes from referrals from past, satisfied clients. If this person would give their name or call my office, we would be able to help them. It is interesting how this person calls it a "trend". When I see a negative post on this site, it is on my mind and I do sometimes ask some of my many clients who are very satisfied, to write a positive review while I am speaking with them. If I spent more time doing that, there would be hundreds more. The fact is, I cannot respond specifically to this criticism because the poster has not identified themselves. They could be a former client, or they could be a jealous law firm representative. (We have actually caught someone doing this before) This poster is more than welcome to contact the BBB and will see that we have an "A" rating. We do occasionally have unsatisfied clients and there are many reasons for that. For an example, some clients simply do not provide us with the documents we need to help them. Getting a loan modification is a complex process. It involves submitting a plethora of documents to the bank and they all have to be perfect. Many clients who come to us have tried on their own and failed. Many of them are sick of filling out documents and just want the foreclosure nightmare to be over. Then we have to ply them for their documents. We cannot help a client if they don't provide what's needed. We can only help the client sort out what is needed, submit it to the bank and be a constant thorn in the bank's side. We do this every single day. And every single day I personally review SEVERAL approved loan modifications with my clients. If the person identifies themselves, then I am at least given the opportunity to respond in a meaningful way. A post like this one is merely slanderous, and I do not have the ability to specifically defend our firm. This is at least the second time this exact same person has reviewed our firm in a clear attempt to lower our outstanding rating. I have had the worst couple of years of my life. I got behind on my mortgage back in 2012 because I probably bit off more than I could chew when I bought my home. My payment went up every year for 4 years. I should have known better. The mortgage guy sold me on this. I'm sure he was paid on a commission. When I got behind I thought my world was over. It has been very stressful. In 2013 I contacted my mortgage company and asked them if I could do a loan modification. They said I could try and sent me a huge list of things to send it. I sent it all in and then nothing happened. A few weeks later I called them and they said they never got my paperwork. I had to put it all together again and this time I tracked it to make sure they could not say they did not get it. Then I got my foreclosure notice that they were still taking me to court to take my house. I didn't know what to do. Then I got a loan modification notice from my mortgage company. I was thrilled until I read it. My payment was actually going up by over $300 a month! How could they expect me to pay more when I couldn't make the lower payment? A friend of mine told me about Keaveney Legal Group. I called them and they have been great. They filed papers to fight my foreclosure and said we should reapply for a loan modification. They told me what happened to me was very common. I don't know how these big banks get away with what they're doing. I had to get all my papers and checkstubs together again and got them to them. I had to give them papers for a few months which was a pain but they told me that the banks intentionally drag their feet. The papers can only be 30 days old for them to use them and they take longer than that to review them! It's a scam! Keaveney told me it was normal and not to get upset. Then I got a GREAT modification! They gave me a great interest rate and my payment is now $315 dollars a month less then I was paying before! God bless these people. I would tell anyone reading to NOT give up. Call these guys if you're having trouble with your house payment!

our world fell apart when my husband was injured. He couldn't work for almost a year and we missed two of our mortgage payments. Then when he got back to work we tried to catch up but our useless mortgage company would not take a partial payment. I called and spoke to them at least 5 times and got a different person every time. I was lied to and treated terribly. We finally caught it up and then my husband lost his job. We got behind again and this time when we tried to catch up we weren't able to. Every lawyer we talked to tried to push us to file bankruptcy. We didn't want to fele bankrupty! We wanted to try to lower our payment and save our home. WE have lived here for 12 years. Our kids grew up here. Thank God we called Keaveney. My husband got another job and they helped slow down our foreclosure and then got all of our papers together and submitted them to the mortgage company to modify our loan. They also won some hearings with the mortgage company. The great news is they got us a loan modification that took $430 a month off of our old payment!! These guys are awesome and we will be forever grateful. The notes say you can't use names but I can tell you we had some wonderful people help us. Thank you!!!

Over a year ago, my husband's place of work started to cut wages and we were having trouble keeping up with the mortgage. When we first moved into our home we could keep up with the payments. Hence, we went with another company that claimed they could help us. They told us not to contact our mortgage company that it would hurt our case. Unfortunately, after three months they came back and said that the mortgage company wouldn't work with them. At least they only strung us along for only three months. At this point it made us three months behind. Well we decided to try to pay our monthly payment and try to add extra until the back payments were caught up. Our mortgage wouldn't go for that and wanted the whole three months or they would foreclose. Well we didn't have three months worth of payments. This is when we found Keaveney. It has now been over a year and a half and they have done absolutely nothing but every month keep asking us to fax paper work to them. You never hear how your case is going or anything. Just keep sending paper work. Now all of a sudden my husband is laid off. I refuse to fax anymore paper work to them. I feel they're just stringing us along so they can make more money off of us. They have all the paper work they need. Let them use that paper work. If they come back now and say they can't do anything, if we didn't have three months worth of payments, what makes them think we'll have over a year and a half worth of payments. I will be reporting them to BBB and I'm still talking to my husband, we may even report them to the Pennsylvania Attorney General. My husband thinks we should also contact our state representative. We need to know what other legal avenues we have. I definitely don't want to lose my home. If anyone else has any ideas of what we can do to save our home, please advise, because Keaveney certainly isn't doing anything but taking our money.
      - 9/23/2015 - We were milked too. They are a scam - flag
      - 10/11/2015 - Rosy, they scammed us too over $9500 and didn't do what they promised. I will be filing a complaint with the HAMP and reporting them to government and state officials. They had the nerve to try and charge us the last 2 months when in fact they strung us and never submitted our documents in. If I didn't keep communicating with our mortgage company and see copies that the mortgage company sent them, I would have officially lost our home. I'm still trying to finalize our modification, no thanks to them but my hard work. Beware, beware, beware. And I won't put our name on this due to fear that they will jeopardize the pending modification. Once it's permanent I will come out, in the news/media to what they are doing. Shame on you! - flag
      - 10/27/2015 - My experience is exactly the same, this office is a scam, the only time I got a call from them is when a payment was due. The staff is clueless and unprofessional who cannot answer simple questions or provide accurate updates. In most cases it took over several emails and phone call to get a vague response. I will be contacting the Attorney General and legal ethics board to file complaints. I would not trust them to pay a parking ticket! - flag

As I am writing this, my husband and I are considering legal action against this group for malpractice. After 1 and 1/2 years and thousands of dollars, our simple mortgage transaction has gone unresolved and unanswered. I wish I would have seen this site before, but thankful, my counsel sent it to me now. My observation of these reviews are once a negative review is posted, a number of 'positive reviews' follow in the days afterwards. I suspect this is to keep ratings high and off the radar of the real reviews. Shall we see if this happens this time?
Jim Keaveney - 10/2/2015 - My name is Jim Keaveney, founder of Keaveney Legal Group. This person also says they have an attorney who referred them to this site. I invite that attorney to come on here and identify themselves and compare track records with our firm. We at KLG all take great pride in the work we do and the results we get - flag

My wife and I were in need of a local, knowledgable, responsive, and trustworthy lawyer to help with our foreclosure issue. It also included the a divorce issue. After working briefly with another lawyer, we decided that a change was needed. This was primarily due to a lack of responsiveness to our needs. Keaveney was recommended by a trusted friend, and we met with them at their offices. Needless to say, this was a great decision. The diligence shown on our case was great and communication was top notch We got a modification that lowered our payment $550.00per month and we can now move on with our lives

I wanted to write about my experience with Keaveney Legal. I had an amazing contact person that constantly updated me with the progress of my case. I was so confused originally and didnt know who to believe. The bank was telling me one thing, each rep a different thing and then after i sent a payment to the bank, they still tried to foreclose. Keaveney stepped in and fought for me. they went to every court appearance and let me know what was happening along the way. i fought the bank for 2 years on my own, and was frustrated not to mention how much time it took from work and my kids. once i hired the law firm, they did everything for me. it was like a weight was lifted. i just got my permanent modification at a much lower payment and rate. my court case was dismissed and i now can get back on with my life. thank you from the bottom of my heart

In 2009 I fell behind on my mortgage, i lost my job. Then, 3 months later my wife lost her job. It was very scary and we could not make mortgage payments. In 2011, I got a new job and caught up the mortgage. I lost my job again in 2012 and my house went into foreclosure in 2014. I was scared and ashamed and I didnt know what to do. So , i did nothing. I waited and waited. I got court notice after court notice. Then i was searching online one day and saw Keaveney Legal. I talked to one of their reps for an hour. I went into every detail, and to my amazement, they said they could help. I couldnt believe it... 3 weeks later they had my sale cancelled and we got a loan modification in. It took awhile, but then , I got it. I got the modification that would keep my family in their home. the one they grew up in. Thank you so much from me and my family. i would recommend you guys if i knew anyone else in foreclosure

I was upset called and ready to go to mount laurel, called the intake person who really was the one who was calmed me down and was local to my home told me would call me back that sending internal email then he returned my call told me they would call me back tomorrow if not I could call him back well phone call came in from other person stating payment this seams to be all about never ending payments I've call and e-mailed and the response never comes in, on top of this received motion to withdraw and they say after speaking at length with defendants etc. as to date never spoke to my assigned lawyer. beware really do your homework before hiring this firm i have the same feeling i had dealing with mortgage companies lawyer say one thing and do other and tell you evrything going to be fine but monthly payment will go on

I have been working on my Chp 7 for 6 months now! They were paid in full at the beginning of March and all paperwork was submitted by mid-April. I didn't hear from them for an entire month, in which I contacted them to see what was happening. I was told that other clients with more pressing time issues had to come before mine and they didn't know when they could get my paperwork together. I didn't get filed until mid-June. I am now on my 3rd attorney, which they never let me know of the change. They barely responded to my emails asking questions about important things, like selling my home, in which, now I am in a bind because of incorrect advice. Everything the 2nd attorney told me was incorrect, the process has not gone anything like he said it was going to. I had a hearing yesterday, to which the attorney never contacted me to discuss the outcome and next steps. I contacted them to find not only do I have a new attorney, but they do not have a phone number for me to contact him. I've never encountered such dysfunction and lack of concern. If I didn't have over $1,000 tied up with them, I would hire another attorney at the drop of a dime. If you are going to file bankruptcy in NJ, please do not go here. You will regret it!

After months and months and months of being misled, lied to, promised by the bank that I was going to get a modification, I was denied for no good reason. I became very depressed and felt like just abondoning all hope. I was telling my friend the story and she said her brother went through the same thing , but found a law firm to help him. I went online and looked up the #1 foreclosure law firm in NJ. At this point I did not have much hope, but I couldnt bear telling my children we had to move , so i would do anything to keep us there. I told them our story and they instantly made me feel better. They told me this happens to everyone and I shouldnt feel bad. That I should keep my head up and they would work to keep me in the house. While they were going to court to fight the foreclosure, they had their modification team keep after the bank. All the while keeping me informed of what was happening. My client service person was amazing and made me feel like i was a person and not just a number. I received my modification this morning and I could not be happier. There are still good people in the world that do good work and I am so glad I was able to find them. THANK YOU!!!!!

- Did not know who we were..NOT ONCE BUT TWICE!!!!! Horrible Firm! - - Frank and Linda Brady - 6/21/2015 - flag as inappropriate - comment
Ok to start off my wife and I have a unique case that most of you considering this firm do not have. We hired KLG and were told from the jump we are looking a a 2-3 month resolution. Ok, here we are a year later and thousands of dollars paid and we are no further along then day 1. To explain the title of my post we had Josh Thomas assigned to our case and was our contact throughout the year. We had at least 3 sit down (face to face) meetings with Josh due to the lack of any work being done with our case. now, NOT ONCE BUT TWICE we called and had a conversation with Josh only for him to confuse us with another case and actually answer us with a "wait who are you? what case are we talking about"? Really? During the year long nightmare we were told that our case is being handled by our team. let me tell you that team is incompetent. 2 times we were told by our contact person I'm not handling your case any longer let me transfer you to the person who is. Weeks sometimes months would go by without any contact from this firm. All along we were being charged over $895 a month for nothing being done. We decided to FIRE this firm and we were contacted by them in a panic and our fee was reduced to $199. (just think all that money wasted when we could have had them for $199 a month from the start) so we decided to ride it out a little longer. OK..fast forward to our day in court...8 months have passed and we have a final face to face with our assigned attorney Josh. He sat a told us blow by blow how we are going to present this to the judge and how not to worry. HAHA joke the day of court Josh never shows up! They send in the back up attorney who we never met and just read the case the night before. He was unprepared and was made a fool by the judge. We lost the case. No fight, no rebuttal, no argument. Emails and texts to Josh the next day never answered. Case closed. Thanks for nothing Keaveney Legal group. We fired them. People please consider my review. It's not BS. There is so much more I would like to say but there are too many long examples of incompetence I cannot possible type it all out. We wasted a year of our time and thousands of dollars with them. We were contacted by Keaveney after their termination to reconsider and thanks but no thanks. We requested the last 2 months payments back since they did nothing. and yup, we didn't get a call back! Now...Jim Keaveney. First, I never met you. and have no idea who you are. But I'm assuming your the owner or lead attorney or maybe the online public relations guy? who knows? but I see you respond to all the negative feedback and try to make the person look at fault. I welcome you to pull our file and call me or my wife to dispute any of the above. Your firm did not help us bottom line and we feel cheated, lied to and foolish that we trusted you. we put our lives and the future in your hands. Your bad people!
      - 8/3/2015 - We have been strung along too, Frank and Linda. We've paid, over 9500 and no results. We are where we first started. Now my husband will have to rake from his pension, or wipe it out, to cure the default. Between the legal fees from the keaveney group and our mortgage legal fees we will stand to lose over 20,000. Once we are in good hands we plan to report, and go to the media about how wronged they did us.      Jim Keaveney Founder/Owner - 6/11/2015 - Hi I am Jim Keaveney, founder of Keaveney Legal Group. I would like to respond both to the author of this anonymous criticism and those who may read it. While I do not know who this person is, or if they are even a client, I thought this would be a good opportunity to discuss the realities of saving a home and what is involved and why it can take some time. No attorney can control how long things take. This is especially true when we are fighting to save someone's home. Before someone complains about how something is taking too long they should consider that quite often, time is the best friend of a homeowner in foreclosure. A good example would be where a homeowner was laid off and was unable to afford their mortgage. If that homeowner hires an attorney and wants the case to end quickly, it will not end well for the homeowner. The homeowner needs to get a job, establish an income stream and then have the firm apply for a loan modification. How long will it take for all of that to happen? It depends on a lot of factors, the most obvious being the need for employment and how quickly the person is rehired or finds a new job. Without an attorney to protect the homeowner, the bank would just steamroll right over the person. They will file a complaint, serve it, then file a motion for summary judgment. They will likely tell the homeowner that they are working with them to help save their house, all the while foreclosing behind the homeowner's back. That is why it is essential to hire a good attorney to fight the case, stand up for the homeowner's rights and do everything in their power to save the home. Another factor to consider is that in order to get a loan modification, the client has to provide a series of financial documents. The attorney cannot create those documents out of thin air. If the client does not provide them, the process comes to a grinding halt. This is one of the biggest problems an attorney faces when trying to save a home. The client must help us help them. The squeaky wheel does in fact, get the grease and we are vigilant about staying on top of the bank. This is one of the reasons why we are so successful at helping people save their homes. My office would be happy to discuss any of these or other foreclosure issues you may be having with you personally. - flag

They have taken more than $6000 from us, and guess what??? Our home is going up for Sheriff's sale in March! The interesting thing is that this legal group was not cc'd on ANY of the documents. Seems to me that if they were representing us, that they would have been cc'd on any/all correspondence from the mortgage company. They supposedly had a meeting with a judge in June, even though they didn't provide us with the specific date, so that we could have been there. When we asked for the transcripts from this meeting, we were told "ok", but we never received them. Everything that we have been told, is hearsay at this point. We haven't received any type of documentation from them, that shows that they are truly representing us! They claimed that they were unable to secure a loan modification from the bank, but I had to send them my loan mod paperwork, several times!! I asked them several questions that I never got answers to. Makes me think that they haven't really done anything!! When I told them that the bank was going to foreclose, they said that maybe they could buy us time. Haven't heard back from them. No motions have been filed in our behalf or anything! They haven't even responded to the foreclosure action! They had 20 days to respond, and they said NOTHING! And now the bank wants the full amount. It doesn't even say how much would be needed to cure the default! The way things have gone, they probably haven't contacted the bank to negotiate a lower price for my property, or even a payment plan!      Jim Keaveney Founder/Attorney - 2/5/2015 - Hi, I am Jim Keaveney, founder of Keaveney Legal Group. I am very saddened to read this review. At Keaveney Legal Group, we strive for 100% client satisfaction. I would like to advise anyone reading this that the above review is completely inaccurate and full of false statements. The hearing referenced in June was a case management conference. Clients do not attend those hearings, it is simply for the lawyers and the judge to work out a schedule for the case. There are no transcripts made for a case management conference as there is no need for one. The court simply provides a schedule. The reviewer claims we were not copied on documents from the bank, that we never provided the clients with anything and that we could not get a loan modification for them. All of these statements are totally false. In fact we received a loan modification for the clients addressed to our office! We provided it to the clients and the clients advised us that they accepted the modification. The modification of the loan significantly reduced the payments (hundreds of dollars less than the mortgage payments)! If the client had simply paid those payments as they advised us they would, the case would have ended and the house would not be for sale. This was a home that we saved, but for the clients' failure to make the much lower payments. We cannot write the checks and make mortgage payments for our clients. We later found out that the clients did not make the payments. The clients had stopped paying our firm and yet we continued to attend hearings and a conciliation conference for the clients in an effort to save the home even though the client had not paid the bank, nor our firm. Eventually, we had to cancel our services as the clients simply refused to pay. It is truly a shame that this house is scheduled for sale We went above and beyond what most attorneys would have done in this case. We ALWAYS want positive outcomes for our clients and will work tirelessly as advocates for them. I would be happy to personally discuss a concern that any potential client may have that is reading this review as there are always two sides to a story - flag
      - 2/6/2015 - I am very sorry, but YOUR statements are absolutely not true! First, your firm ABSOLUTELY, POSITIVELY DID NOT obtain a loan mod for us. If that were true, there would have been no need for a negative review! Its funny that you say you saved us hundreds with the loan mod, and yet, you seem to be the only one that knows that. We have no knowledge of that, nor does the mortgage company. Since I did not provide my name or file#, I'm curious as to who you are getting your information from. And yes, your firm did get paid every month, and I have the credit card statements to prove it, so you representing us for free is incorrect. You sir, have been grossly misinformed! - flag
Dale Weida - 10/26/2015 - I am currently experiencing the same I have been dealing with them for a couple years. Lies and lawyer changes. Not doing what they are supposed to be doing. More lies. Still not doing anything. Ten grand later. Still nothing. We are not done yet. We will see what happens. Oh and did I mention that I went to my bankruptcy hearing an hour from my house and my attorney never showed up. No call no show. - flag

Thank you so much for the wonderful work you did on my case. I was hesitant at first to hire a lawyer, but it turns out it was the best decision I ever made. We get to keep our house with a lower payment. The stress is gone and I can smile again. Thanks again!

how do you write a review about a law firm that allowed your kids to stay in the only house they have ever known? all i can say is that it was worth every dollar i paid and more. all the other attorneys told me the only chance i had was bankruptcy. keaveney legal group was the only one that said we should fight to keep our home. they did just that and now i can move on without the stress of moving and ripping my kids out the only school they knew and keep their friends. thank you, thank you, thank you

Keveaney Legal is the worst defense firm to deal with. They almost never appear at case management conferences and motions. They file notices of appearance when there is still time to answer and then file a motion to vacate default after default is entered solely to collect dees from clients. It is extremely rude to the judges and other parties that they can't drive to court while the rest of us drive hours to appear. It's just plain sad for their clients as they simply want money and put forth no effort. Avoid this firm at all costs.
Jim Keaveney - Founder - 1/5/2015 - Hi I am Jim Keaveney, founder of Keaveney Legal Group. To anyone reading this, the review was clearly not written by a client, but rather, by an attorney or someone on their behalf, who represents the banks. They find us difficult to work with. Guess what, we do not want to make it easy on the banks so it is actually a compliment in my book. We make life difficult for the banks and their attorneys which is why we are so successful. To be sure, under our fee structure we DO NOT CHARGE our clients for filing motions. So when the reviewer says we file motions to collect fees from our clients, they are clearly lying and not familiar with our business and fees. It is a shame that some shill for a lender who is trying to take away your home can anonymously slander our firm. We will always fight for you against these bullies and their shameless tactics! - flag

These guys saved my home. All of the other attorneys just talked about bankruptcy. I did not want to file bankruptcy. Their team helped me get a much lower payment and stopped my foreclosure. The stress of this was killing me. I have 3 kids and we would have had to rent a much smaller house. Josh and his team worked very hard for me. Highly recommend.

When I called Keaveney Legal Group, I was crying. I had no where to turn and everyone told me to file bankruptcy, pack up and leave my home. I had put so much love and money into my home that i could not give up. Keaveney legal made me feel like I had a voiice. They stood up for me, defended me and helped resolve my foreclosure with a loam modification. When people tell you to give up, you should fight harder and I am glad I did., Thanks for your help.

I contacted Keaveney Legal Group when I got behind on my mortgage. I had gotten injured and couldn't work for over a year. I burned through my savings and when I could finally work again I was too far behind. I was sure I was going to lose my house. Josh Thomas and his team worked hard to help me get a better mortgage payment and stop my foreclosure. It took longer than I had hoped but that was probably more my fault than them. My ridiculous bank kept asking for the same documents over and over again. The people at the mortgage companies are idiots and impossible to work with! I was also slow in getting Keaveney the loan documents they needed to negotiate with my mortgage company. But they got it done! I am paying $360 less per month than I had to pay before! Thank you Josh, Jim and your team! I highly recommend these guys.

I dont think there are words strong enough to express my gratitude to Keaveney Legal group. They did what noone else could. They saved my home. How can someone possibly say Thank you enough. After years of frustration and many days crying, my family can live in the HOME that we have built instead of moving into another house. The modification we got was affordable and we can move on. All I can say is Thank you, although I wish there was a better way to thank you

- Please re-think, reach out to your mortage company before hiring this firm - - - 10/20/2014 - flag as inappropriate - comment
A little background information. I just want everyone to understand what they are getting themselves in to when they sign up with this firm. I was laid off from my job, my husband left the home out of state. I was left with two small children to care for on my own. I recieved a welcoming letter in the mail from this firm. I was at my wits end and was extrememly vunerable. A very nice, educated man came out to my home. Told me that he could help me save my home from forclosure. All I had to do was set up a direct withdrawel of $500.00 a month from my account, and they would do the rest. He stated that I should not attempt to pay the mortgage. As long as I was being represented the bank could not forclose. Every month they took their payment. Every week via fax I sent them paystubs, every month bill statements. I went to an arbitration hearing where I sat next to a person representing the firm. The people in the meeting were from my mortage company also. They told us they needed things that I sent to the firm multiple times. This was the only time I saw, or spoke with someone from the firm. This happen twice. After 8 months of nothing, I called the firm and they advised that they would no longer represent me since they tried to withdrawel their monthly fee and my account declined the withdrawel. That quick they dropped me. I was able to get a hold of my mortage company. At this time I was advised that they had never once been contacted by this firm. They had nothing on file. Also the type of loan that I have does not even qualify for legal action. I was scammed. I paid $3,500.00 for nothing. My kids and I did without food, electric, and gas for days. I had to go to a local church for food at times. Please do not let this happen to you. I believe that their is good in this world, but I also agree that there are people in this world that prey and take advantage of vunerable women, especially single mothers who do not know where else to turn after their world has been turned upside down. Do not let this happen to you.
Jim Keaveney (Attorney/Owner) - 10/24/2014 - Hi I am Jim Keaveney, founder of Keaveney Legal Group. I would like to respond both to the author of this anonymous criticism and those who may read it. First, the sentence about not attempting to pay the mortgage is true. If you are a homeowner and behind on your mortgage the bank will generally not take payments unless you pay in full - all that THEY CLAIM is due. They will take your money and still take your home! That is why it is critical to work out a legal, binding loan modification before you send the bank another dime. Regarding mediation - the bank is constantly claiming they never heard from our firm and they never received documents. Here is a news flash - they are liars and/or do not know what they are doing in most cases. I can tell you this - we would NEVER be allowed to represent a client at a mediation if we had not notified the bank AND the court of our representation of our client. So we definitely communicated with the bank. They do not let strangers walk in and participate in a mediation. I am not saying the bank did not say this to this client, I am saying the bank lied. Just like if the bank said we did not send them documents, they lied. I have successfully pursued monetary sanctions against banks who claim they did not get documents when they did. We prove it to the court and the bank has to pay money for wasting our time at a mediation by either incompetence or fraud in claiming they did not receive documents. With respect to the claim that we dropped this client after one missed payment I can state with extreme confidence that it did not happen. We have NEVER dropped a single client for one missed payment. It would take at least 3 missed payments and 90 days with several letters and phone calls not returned in order for us to consider dropping a client. Additionally, I have always worked with clients who have a hardship and personally authorized many discounts and forgiven past due payments to help them out. Dealing directly with the bank is a very bad idea. They will lie to you, pretend they are working with you and then take your home away. I invite the person who wrote this to contact my office immediately to discuss how we can help her. Please call (800) 219-0939 - flag
patricia f (client know who I am) - 1/26/2015 - I agree with everything this client has stated. I have experienced ALL of the same problems. The owners response stating he would gladly speak to this client if they called him is all inaccurate. I have been experiencing the exact same problem, requesting the "owner" and my attorney to contact me, was promised a called, and just today received and email from my attorney REFUSING to discuss my concerns. I have lost $3000 over a 4 month period and this firm does nothing more than employ the same tactics as the mortgage company for a hefty fee. There isn't any communication and when you challenge them, they blame you for not sending the requested documents. When you provide proof you sent all requested documents, they blame the internet for not delivering messages they claim they sent and I never received. I am loosing my house. Did my research before hiring and chose to ignore the negative and go with the positive reviews. I am now convinced the positive reviews were not from actual clients. Please note: I am a client of this firm regardless of the response from them BEWARE of their empty promises. - flag
patricia F - 1/26/2015 - Update to my original comment: I would like to amend my comment to state the attorney did not "refuse" to speak to me. He stated he did not have any further updates to offer and that he only handles the legal issues, not the modification. His customer service manager adequately was providing me updates . So legally, he did not refuse to talk to me. He has offered an outline of what has transpired on the legal side of my case. (My goal is a mortgage modification) He has provided times I could reach him but made it very clear he has nothing more to add other than what the modification department has told me. Due to my involvement, the modification application has, after four months, reached the lender but as of today, there has not been any communications directly with the modification department, just the attorneys handling the case - flag

ANY person who wrote a great review most likely works for the LLC so called legal firm. I HIGHLY advise, do not waste your time with these guys. Its a gimmick. A CUSTOMER SERVICE REP will reach out to you to ask you questions, you will then get legal advice from a LOAN OFFICER that is part of a mortgage company, what a joke! There is no free consultation with an attorney!! Please do not provide these guys with your personal information. No telling what their intentions are?Recommendation: Have a Friend/Family refer you to an attorney in your/local area. Now a days, lawyers are offering 30 minute free consultations. You already have enough on your plate to deal with, don't waste your time with these frauds!
Jim Keaveney - 9/3/2014 - As the owner of this law firm, I find your comments not only disturbing, but they are blatantly untrue. I would be happy to discuss them with you. Call my office at 800-219-0939. To address your post, firstly, we do not employ any loan officers, we are not a mortgage company, but a law firm that has helped many clients in New Jersey and PA achieve their goals during a very difficult situation. We DO offer a FREE consultation that is as long as a client needs, whether it is 30 minutes or 2 hours. It is unfortunate that anonymous posters can post negative information, when we have NEVER had a complaint with the BBB, the Bar, or any other entity. I do agree that you should always do your due diligence online before selecting an attorney. - flag

When i met with the representitive from the law firm, i knew instantly , i made the right choice. He was very knowledgable and made me feel like I wasnt alone. Anyway, i finally got exactly what I wanted. The law firm was able to negotiate a deed in lieu of foreclosure and I know longer have to worry about being sued for the 3 years worth of payments i didnt make or maintenance of the property. There are so many lawyers out there and I was dealing with a divorce, foreclosure and a tax issue all at the same time. Everyone on the Keaveney Legal team was amazing. I would be very careful of this group- you can not actually even speak to an atty unless you sign a Retainer Agreement and pay a retainer fee. Who hires an attorney that way? All of my conversations were with a Sr loan officer/sr forensic officer. How does a person with that background qualify as legal contact? I would suggest you be very careful and make sure you print the whole Agreement they send electronically. View the Utube videos- they contradict themselves- they do the very same thing they warn you against in their video.

If you pay attention they tell you to contact them when you receive the foreclosure notice. I did this and then they said you will need an attorney we dont do bankruptcy. well i wasted months and money. my home was saved by the next attorney i hired and he determined also they did not file the documents they told me they filed. i never spoke to the attorney at the firm until i sent them a letter to terminate the contract. so technically if you are looking to stay in your home until time runs out they are the firm if your looking to save your home its a 50/50 chance - flag

From the start, these guys were able to put my mind at ease better than anyone else I talked to. I tried talking to a couple of other attorneys but they did not want to help me and did not get what I wanted... TO SAVE MY HOME. While those other guys just wanted to know how much time I wanted, Keveney and their attorneys understood I wanted to stay and most importantly they got me to STAY IN MY HOME. The process may have taken a few more months then I thought, but it was TOTALLY worth it. I am now living in my home at a payment I can afford. THANK YOU.

I could not be happier with what this firm did for us. We had been in the process for 3 years, much of that time with another attorney. That attorney stopped returning my calls about 10 months ago so I had to find another firm and I thank god I found these guys. They were extremely responsive, whether it be by calls, emails or texts, and we admittedly messaged them a lot. The case went all the way up to the appeal stage, but Keaveney was able to get us a permanent modification and stop our house from going to sale. I am now happily safe with my family in my home and though the process took awhile, it was completely worth it. Though we were worried at times, it was worth it to us to stick it out to the end because we finally got the result we wanted and we could not have done it without their help.

This is a scam, they milk you for fees and always have an excuse that why things take forever. We were blatantly lied to and then they had the nerve to later deny and reprimand the client. They verbally tell you everything you want to hear, then after they take thousands and thousands of fees, they deny everything they told you. DO NOT trust them, because you will lose your home for certain along with your credit and $$$$$$! They keep telling you you have to move fast so that they can get the $2500 to start and then $500 @ month. They make it sound like they will be working on it day and night and look any where on the net and it tells you the courts are backed up so you'll be paying them for waiting. I didn't know how long it took for a court date cause I hadn't heard anything on a motion and rather than tell me the courts are back logged and it might take some time to get back with you they try to put panic in you. Oh and you DO NOT talk to an attorney. Your free consultation is there opportunity to strike fear into you. Do yourself a favor and try to find locally and pay as you go.
