About: The firm’s founder and principal, Gregory G. Phillips has been an attorney and resident of Ventura County since 1982. Mr. Phillips has provided clients with 31 years of civil and criminal experience.
Mr. Phillips is a former Ventura County Senior Deputy District Attorney and a civil litigation and trial practice attorney who has represented victims of personal injury, wrongful death, insurance disputes and other civil disputes.
Mr. Phillips was a member of the Ventura County District Attorney’s Office for 16 years and left that office as a Senior Deputy District Attorney, Misdemeanor Supervisor and recipient of both the Attorney of the Year and Leadership Award. Mr. Phillips prosecuted a significant number of jury trials to verdict, which included murder, major narcotics, felony and misdemeanor prosecutions. Mr. Phillips was also an instructor at the Ventura County Sheriff’s Academy and District Attorney’s Office and authored officer involved shooting reports on behalf of the District Attorney’s Office.
Mr. Phillips additionally has 15 years of civil litigation experience. As a former member of the Law Offices of John H. Howard he assisted in obtaining record verdicts, settlements and judgments on behalf of plaintiffs in Ventura, Santa Barbara and Tulare Counties.
