Bio:Arthur H. Brown, Jr., graduated from Georgetown University School of Business Administration in 1966 and Georgetown University Law School in 1969. He also received a Master of Laws in taxation from New York University Law School in 1978.After graduating from law school, Mr. Brown spent two years as an officer in the U.S. Army, including a year as a legal officer with an aviation unit in Vietnam. In 1972 he joined the law firm of Parker Duryee Zunino Malone & Carter in New York City as a tax and trust and estate associate and became a partner on January 1, 1981. That firm became Parker Duryee Rosoff & Haft and then merged with Reed Smith LLP on January 1, 2002, where Mr. Brown was a partner until May 2003, when he joined McLaughlin & Stern, specializing in tax and estate planning.Mr. Brown is admitted to practice before the courts of the State of New York and the District of Columbia as well as the U.S. Supreme Court and U.S. Tax Court.
