Bio:Benazeer Roshan received her J.D. in 2004 from University of California, Berkeley, Boalt Hall School of Law and her B.A. in 2001 (with honors) from University of California, Los Angeles. Prior to joining Sacks, Glazier, Franklin & Lodise LLP in 2008, Ms. Roshan was a commercial litigation associate in the Los Angeles office of Baker & Hostetler LLP. While at Baker & Hostetler, Ms. Roshan handled a variety of complex litigation cases including co-chairing a lengthy jury trial in 2007 which resulted in a unanimous jury verdict in favor of her client. In that trial, Ms. Roshan played a substantial role, including conducting the voir dire and selecting the members of the jury which returned an $18 million dollar verdict. Since joining the firm, she has second chaired several trials all of which have resulted in favorable verdicts on behalf of the firm’s clients. Ms. Roshan is a volunteer attorney for the National Center for Refugee and Immigrant Children which provides pro bono representation to unaccompanied children released from detention in the United States. She has been selected as a Rising Star in Trust and Estates by Southern California Super Lawyers since 2011.
