Bio:Ms. Johnson has represented employers in federal and state court, as well as in related administrative proceedings and arbitrations. She has handled and tried cases involving Title VII, sexual harassment, ADA, ADEA, FLSA, FMLA, wrongful discharge, defamation, whistle-blowing, COBRA, procedural due process, equal protection, 42 U.S.C. 1981, 1983, and 1988, and enforcement of covenants not to compete. Ms. Johnson regularly advises clients on a wide variety of employment issues and is a frequent lecturer on employment law. Ms. Johnson also has experience in investigating employment claims, including claims of discrimination, harassment and retaliation. Ms. Johnson has represented pharmaceutical manufacturers in mass tort, coordinated litigation, and supervised the diet drug litigation for Wyeth in Utah. Ms. Johnson's trial practice is diverse. In 2003, Ms. Johnson successfully defended the former vice president of the Salt Lake Olympic Committee in connection with an indictment arising out of the competition for the 2002 Winter Olympics, obtaining a judgment of acquittal at the close of the government's case.
