Ms. Rule represented the executor of a multi-million-dollar estate with complex issues that included persuading the IRS that, by placing stock certificates with bearer stock powers into a safe deposit box held jointly with the executor, the decedent had made a completed gift, thereby saving the estate millions in estate taxes.
