Daryl Davidson will tell you whatever you want to hear to get your money, then not care about your case, and keep your money for not fulfilling your contract. After three months of being told wrong court dates, having Daryl Davidson flat out not show up to our court date, and having our case regularly continued by either Mr. Davidson or the opposing lawyer, our case was dismissed before ever seeing a judge. We did postpone once because of a death in the family the night before, which we provided him with proof. His office said it was no problem. Upon request for a refund, or at least a partial refund for services not received, Daryl Davidson refused any refund. Per our contract, we paid him to submit "a plea to district court," which never happened because the judge abruptly dismissed the case. The moral resolution would be to refund at least some, if not most of the retainer because you never had to defend your client in court, but Daryl Davidson is anything but a lawyer with morals. Like any dishonorable lawyer, Daryl Davidson inserted a legal loophole in his contracts to take advantage of his clients by making sure he gets to keep your money whether he does his job or not. In addition to our contract stating our $1,500 retainer was for "a plea to district court," beware that it also states the retainer is "earned upon receipt," which ensures he gets to keep your money whether he submits a plea or NOT. Sounds like a man with integrity, right? If you want a lawyer who is too busy to return any calls or emails, consistently tells you the wrong court dates, takes advantage of his clients by keeping your money when not completing his end of your contract or properly defending you as a lawyer would, then Daryl is the guy for you. Thank GOD he didn't win the election for Judge. The last thing we need in that area is an unethical man making unjust verdicts for our citizens.
