Bio:David F. Mayer (partner) was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1985. He is admitted in the United States Federal District Court for the Western District of New York and to the New York State courts. Mr. Mayer received his Juris Doctorate from the Syracuse University College of Law in 1984, and his Bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Superior. The one degree on the wall of his office, however, is his diploma from the District One Technical Institute of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, from the Automotive Mechanics program. Mr. Mayer began his practice in Fairport, New York, and moved to New York City, where he took a position at a Midtown Manhattan real property firm, and soon received an offer from the real property law department of a large Wall Street firm. He returned to Rochester to raise his family, and has been at Harris Chesworth since 1993.
