commentDon’t trust this lawyer. He wrongly bans all rental tenants from using the gym of the residential building he runs. This discrimination is not only unethical, but possibly illegal. He has thereby opened his building to a wave of lawsuits from the building’s many renters. For a lawyer, this oversight is pretty incompetent.

flag Jason Panarella - 9/18/2019 - I am the Resident Manager of The Coliseum, and the review above is simply false. First, he does not “run” our building. The Coliseum is a cooperative. It is overseen by a board of directors (of which he is only one of nine members), and it is managed by an outside property management company, by me, and by my staff. Second, he does not “ban” rental tenants from using our gym (which he would not have the power to do in any case). To the contrary, he genuinely cares for our property and community, and he has actually been the tenants’ advocate – trying to gain authorization for them to be able to use it, since it first opened (in 2016). Rather, it is the “sponsor” – the original owner of the building (which continues to own all of the rental apartments) – which does not permit such use.
This reviewer’s attacks upon him personally are also misguided and regrettable, not to mention flat wrong. Having worked with him for 8 years, I can unconditionally state that he is one of the most ethical, trustworthy and competent professionals I know. He has also helped me personally. I would recommend him to anyone, without qualification. -
