Bio:	Jaymi Salisbury attended the University of Arizona, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy and a minor in Religious Studies in 2008. She received her Juris Doctorate degree from Santa Clara University in 2019 and was a recipient of the Faculty Law Scholarship. Prior to law school, Ms. Salisbury spent several years working in the bay area legal community, including working at a patent prosecution law firm and also serving in various roles for the Santa Clara County Superior Court, criminal division. During law school, Ms. Salisbury was a semi-finalist in the Internal Trial Team Competition, an Honors Moot Court Internal competitor, and also served on the Advocacy Committee for the Honors Moot Court Board Internal. She also interned at the Santa Clara Superior Court, Family Justice Center in the self-help center where she cultivated a deep interest in family law. At the Family Justice Center, Ms. Salisbury assisted self-represented litigants to correctly fill out their parentage and dissolution forms as well as aiding victims of abuse in filing restraining orders. Ms. Salisbury was moved by the courage these litigants possessed as they made tough decisions while trying to navigate the murky waters of the court system. After this internship, Ms. Salisbury was certain she would pursue a career in family law. She took courses to prepare herself for this endeavor including: California Community Property, Family Law, Family Wealth Management, and a dome
